Restoration and Maintenance Project - 2009 !!
Please take note that in February, 2009, we began a restoration project of the interior of the Church. Scaffolding and the use of mecahnical lifts necessitate that significant areas of the interior (nave, transept, entrance, etc.) will be "construction zones" in which pews have been removed, equipment is stored, and other items indicating a "work-in-progress" are present. The sanctuary/altar area will not be affected until June 2009. Although we will schedule weddings through May, 2009, there will be "construction zones" in the Church visible to parishioners and guests.
Beginning in June through to the end of September, 2009, no weddings will be scheduled due to the likelihood of scaffolding in the sanctuary area. Our regular wedding schedule resumes in October, 2009. The project of restoration will likely continue into the month of December. Our hope is that all work will be completed before the Christmas season begins.
