Dear Parishioner,
The interior of the church- the walls, the ceiling, the dome- are all restored and repainted and shine forth in beauty. I am grateful for the excellent work that the Botti Studio of Architectural Arts did over the course of the nearly five moths that they were here. The crew was hard working and always cooperative to what was happening in the church. I highly recommend them to any church that is considering renovation.
Is the restoration work completed? No. Additional lighting is being installed in the next month and you will notice how even brighter the church will be. This will highlight the work that has already been done. We would also like to have work done on the tile floor to repair and clean it. This too is a big job and we have gone to several companies and asked for bids.
Our 104 year old building requires constant attention. This is why we are asking for your support in building up our Maintenance and Restoration Fund. There are several ways that you can do this: Each month there is an envelope in the packet of parish envelopes that you receive in the mail. Your gift in that envelope is deeply appreciated. There is also a Pledge Form if you would like to make a Pledge over a period of time. This source of income allows us to plan better the maintenance and restoration work that needs to be done. Our existing fund is low now because of the work that we have done with the restoration and repainting of the church, so we need to build up this fund again. There are a number of ways to do this. This forms are included in this section of the website.
