    Dates for Lectors 2008-2009

All liturgical ministers at Sacred Heart are required to participate in Continuing Spiritual Formation and Training with regard to their specific ministry. This Continued Formation and Training is offered at various times both here at the parish and through the Diocese of St. Petersburg. We ask liturgical ministers to attend at least one such session per year
(in addition to a preliminary training session for new ministers).

Because the focus for the 2008-2009 diocesan "Living Eucharist" endeavor is the Liturgy of the Word, we are having a special retreat and blessing for all lectors in October.
