On July 31st, 2009, the Botti Studio of Architectural Arts packed up their equipment and supplies and headed back to Chicago, having completed the restoration and repainting of the interior of our church. Early in March, the crew from the Studio arrived to begin the work of cleaning, repairing, painting, and restoring the inside of Sacred Heart Church. The windows and outside had been restored in 2003 and now it was time for the interior to be done. This hadn’t been done since the 1970’s. We are proud of how beautiful our church is and the great job that the Botti Studio did.
We are still in need of donations to continue the restoration and renovation of the church. With a building that is 104 years old, there is always something to be done to keep it in good condition. Additional lighting will be installed soon and we are accepting estimates to restore the tile floor. Will you help by donating to our Restoration and Maintenance Fund?
