REGISTRATION

Contact the school office (229-0618) for information regarding registration and/or for the completion of registration forms. Requirements for new students are as follows:

• Original birth certificate, Baptismal certificate and Social Security card
• Report card and testing results from previous school(s)
• Health certificate with verification of Florida immunization compliance
• Age on or before September 1st:
  • 1st grade
    - 6 years old and completed kindergarten
  • Kindergarten
    - 5 years old
  • Early Childhood 4
    - 4 years old
  • Early Childhood 3
    - 3 years old

An interview with the principal, evaluation of previous school records and a placement test administered at Sacred Heart Academy are required of students transferring into the school. REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FINAL UNTIL ALL OF THESE REQUIREMENTS HAVE BEEN MET. Financial/service hour commitment obligations from the previous school must be up-to-date.

ALL FIRST YEAR AND NEW TRANSFERRING STUDENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON A PROBATIONARY BASIS FOR A NINE-WEEK PERIOD. THE PURPOSE OF THIS POLICY IS TO DETERMINE THE STUDENT’S ABILITY TO ADJUST TO THE SCHOOL’S PHILOSOPHY AND CURRICULUM AND THE SCHOOL’S ABILITY TO MEET THE STUDENT’S NEEDS.
