In math, the 6th graders have been working on integers. They have been using this concept to choose a company traded on the New York Stock Exchange and track whether or not they have made money. Then they used thsi information to create tables and graphs through Microsoft Excel. In Science, they have been studying volcanoes. They created a volcano in the Science Lab and adjusted the quantities to see how they could change the explosion factor.
All middle school students will also be working on Science Fair throughout January and February.
