The fourth and fifth graders are in the Earth Science unit in Science. They are especially enjoying learning about rock and minerals. We recently got an "Eye-Clops" that can magnify things 200 times and put the image on the classroom TV's screen. It has been a lot of fun, and educational, too, to look at various items under such magnification. Come by and we'll show you a dragonfly's wing, the weave of your shirt, or a rock we've found on our TV screen with the help of the "Eye-Clops". Fifth graders will soon be getting information about their Science Project assignments.
Fourth graders read about pirates and in particular about our own Jose Gaspar and were able to determine from various sources of information facts and fiction about pirates.
